excellent hotel,first class staff and restaurant,the gourmet dinner was a joy.we had a problem with our next room neighbors but this was NOT the hotels fault.i spoke to Ted the manager the next morning ... about it and without hesitation he adjusted our bill for that i thank him.i have no hesitation in recommending this hotel,we did not use the spa but i heard some people talking about it and they rated it first class.we did use the bar and i found the staff there,as everywhere in the hotel, very friendly and professional.hotel very well priced and a wonderful place to relax.good day out to the national stud and Japanese gardens which are within a short drive away and well priced. ---

The best hotel I've ever stayed in! Beautiful rooms and surroundings with the best staff around. Friendly,helpful and approachable. The food was excellent, and the restaurant staff couldn't do enough to make sure you had everything you wanted.I had an exceptionally relaxed and enjoyable stay. I can't wait to get back there!

myself and my boyfriend had a wonderful time in the Carlton Abbey Hotel, all satff were very friendly and so helpful that we didnt want to leave in the end!the food was fantastic and our room was so comfortable! will be back again in the near future and i want to thank the stakk at the Carlton for such a lovely stay!

Stayed there on the 3rd of june and arranged for my friends to stay there on the 3rd and 4th of june. I couldn't praise this place anymore. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make my friends, who traveled from england, more than welcome. The rooms were fab and the food was perfect. I will be staying here again

We had a fantastic time in the Carlton Abbey, Athy. the staff, food, room, spa and service was simply fantastic and made our stay most enjoyable. we would definitly consider going back and have no ... hesitation recommending your hotel. thank you so much for your welcome and for accommodating us with baby and all. The only thing we felt was that the staff were under pressure a little, a few more pairs of hands would have made it easier for them in the restaurant. But this certainly did not detract from our experience or from the level of professionalism. Thank you again wholeheartedly. ---

Stayed in this hotel for 2 night. It was my bday and once the staff found this my room was upgraded to a suite. The room was amazing. The staff were so friendly. The hotel was located right in the town. The food was very good. I will defo go back to this hotel.

OK Room, nice bar (with music to dance to, but no dance floor), very tasty food in the restaurant, excellent value for money, very friendly and helpful staff and less than an hour from Dublin ! Good for a weekend break away from The Big Smoke

very enjoyable mid week break, quiet enough in may but perfect. bedroom/bathroom very clean and nice, staff very helpful and friendly, restaurant had beautiful food and not over priced, no breakfast included with our booking, best to book direct for best deals, would stay again

I ENJOYED MY STAY. THE ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. MY ONLY CRIB WOULD BE THAT ON A VERY BUSY WEEKEND AND KNOWING IT WAS GOING TO BE WITH THE TRIATHLON ... THAT THE WHOLE HOTEL WAS VERY UNDER STAFFED, BAR, RESTAURANT AND ROOM CHANGEOVER. THE BEDROOM DOORS CONSISTANLY BANG, ANY WAY OF SLOWING THEM DOWN BEFORE CLOSING? IT WAS VERY REASONABLE IN THE PRICE ALSO. THANKS FOR A LOVELY STAY, ---

Booked room, got family apartment for same price which was excellent. Great service, very comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. Extra little things like sweets in room for kids made it very special.
